Sarah Jackson Shelton
Sarah Jackson Shelton was called to be the pastor of Baptist Church of the Covenant in 2002. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She and her husband, Lloyd, have two children. David works in New York City. Dan is a student at The University of Alabama.

Valerie Burton
Valerie Burton was called to serve BCOC in April 2008 as Minister to Preschool, Children, and Youth. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University, Nashville, TN and a Master of Divinity from the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, Virginia. Valerie and her husband Allan have been members of BCOC since 2002. They have two children, Carter and Marshall.
Taylor Bell
Taylor Bell has recently returned to the Covenant family as the new Ministries Coordinator. Taylor was a church member while he was a student at Samford University. Taylor is a graduate of Samford University, May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He graduated from Candler School of Theology at Emory University May 2017. He lives with his wife Emily in Birmingham.
Josey Windham
Josey Windham is the new Office Administrator at Covenant. Josey graduated in 2012 from American Univeristy in Washington, D.C. She lived and worked for a non-profit in Washington until she recently moved back to her home town of Birmingham.
Sherri Swickard
Sherri Swickard is the new financial administrator for BCOC. Sherri previously worked for the Accounting and Mortgage Loan Department of Protective Life for 32 years. Sherri and her husband Kerry live in Clay, Alabama.
